I was put on Haldol in the inpatient psych unit. It totally calms me down and melts anxiety away. It doesn't make me tired for some reason, thought it makes most people tired. It helps with anxiety, mood stabilization, and I feel like even depression. The downfall is the tardive dyskinesia. But it truly is very helpful for me. I don't get akathisia from it. My Seroquel is the only thing that seems to cause akathisia. Anyone else have good experiences with Haldol?

Ive been on it in the past. I didnt like it. I literally slept all but 3 hours of the day, and I had a lot of muscle stiffness to the point of pain. I can see how some would like it though.

I take haldol. I haven't had a hallucination since I started it, and no negative side effects.
