personally I prefer showers.

I like standing under the water letting it fall on my skin.

it's like being in the rain

I just don't enjoy the relaxed nature of a bath.

but that's just me

My parents have a hot tub jacuzzi thing in their bathroom. I like using that.

I shower 99% of the time though. Gotta have the time and patience for a bath these days

not sure why I put neither as an option, but I suppose some people may prefer just your standard wash

flannel towel, bent over the sink..

Well, I suppose you could stick your head in a toilet that has a bidet
Thanks for this!

I had a disabled babysitter that could not take a shower or bath. That’s valid. She washed her hair in the kitchen sink, and just washed with washcloths.

On an everyday basis a shower is great, but for a more mindful treat, when I have more time, a nice soak in a hot bath is bliss.

I definitely love my showers. But if I had my 'druthers, I 'druther soak in a Russian steambath, aka banya or "maqi" in Yup'ik. I learned how to maqi with my yup'ik brothers while I was in seminary. I love me some 250 degree steam!

Definitely a shower person. I could stay in the shower all day. I don’t feel safe in the bath. I think it’s because you sit/lay in a bath, so I feel vulnerable.

I use to love baths but now I take showers. I use to love the water but now even showers are chores.

I miss baths. We had to take ours out to replace it with a walk in thing for my elderly mum. She can sit in it and bath or shower, but usually I help her shower and wash her hair. I have my own shower but miss a long soak. I might start going to the gym over the winter, so I can use the jacuzzi and steam room.

If I had a proper large tub, I'd quite like a soak once in a while. But I'm a large person with a small tub so it's not really a treat. I prefer showers but it's hard to do them (depression).

I like both. I soak in the tub as a coping skill....so when my anxiety is starting I soak. Other days when my mood is fine I take a nice shower.

I hate getting into the shower....
glad when it is done....
Would really enjoy a hot hot shower if I did not have to always worry about running out of hot water....

Had a bath at hot springs Arkansas last week, lovely.

that must have been really hard for her
i'm not going to ask what disability she had (it's not my place too), but if she couldn't take showers or baths because of it, good for her for actually going on with the self care

Forced to, I'd take a bath...terribly afraid of being in water especially over my head so no showers...usually wash my hair in the sink and do a thorough sponge bath.

I LOVE my bathtub. We remodeled a few years ago and I had a Greek style tub installed. It's very deep. Even when I'm sitting up in the bath the water is almost to my neck. It's great for long hot soaks.

Both and it and it depends on what mood I am in. I love the shower because I feel a lot cleaner, Baths I don't feel as clean.
