i have been in so much pain the last 2 days. it's driving me crazy. all i can do is sit here and cry. i think i might go to the urgent care today to see if i can get a steroid shot and and NSAID shot. everything hurts. weed helps but not for long. pain level is about a 9. idk why i'm in so much pain.

Possible trigger:

I hope your visit to urgent care will be a productive one. However, after going to a few myself, IMO I think they are good for bandaids and such. Otherwise, they send you to the ER. For liability reasons, they want you to get there in an ambulance. This has been my experience. I had one doctor misdiagnose a straight forward condition. I hope it will be a much better experience.

Are you smoking specific strains of weed for pain?

I moved to get back to my university state because we are allowed up to two ounces of medical marijuana. I am provided with strains that are the best for pain. Pain awakens me every morning and I smoke before breakfast, so that my hands will ‘work.’

Moreta, I have the same minus scoliosis. I had a total disc replacement in C5 and L4. Both surgeries were successful but I still have 8 bulging discs and degenerative disc disease.

I posted the above to tell you I relate and the title of your thread was EXACTLY how I felt and what I said ... here for you.

I tried everything before surgeries. I’m still in pain 24/7 and it’s been 20 years of it now, but I can deal with it. I understand where you’re at and PM me anytime.

I remember thinking getting “hit” with bipolar 1 and major neck and back problems SUCKED (still does). Why both, right?!

Thinking of you...

I had other areas hurt, too. My hips, back of my legs, my shoulders, arms all the way down to my fingers. My ulnar nerve was pinched from the herniated disc in my neck, causing the aforementioned pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. The hip and leg pain (sciatica) were due to my lower herniated disc in my lower back.

I bought and still use Biofreeze....I found it on Amazon. It will take the edge off the pain...just an idea. Chiropractors and some doctors sell it, but Amazon is much cheaper. Perhaps it will help, a bit?

I am sorry you are suffering.

I also live with chronic pain and it's been worse with the weather changes.

I hope you have found some relief?

SO glad you got some sleep... That always helps.

I hope your Pain Doc will help you out... There is no reason for people being left in horrific pain like this
