Post a movie/movie scene, poem, song, book, quote, whatever makes you cry. Curious because I want to see what makes y'all cry, and I'm also kinda in the mood to watch sad stuff. I just watched The Fault in Our Stars and it made me tear up a bit, no shame.

Curious why? Everything makes me cry.....tears of joy, tears of sadness, confusion, terror. Sometimes I cry for myself, sometimes for others.....sometimes for groups, sometimes individuals. I wish I didn’t cry so much but it’s how I was made.

Ever since I have been on my medication it doesn't take much for me to cry. I remember crying last year watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Explain that one! haha.

The last song that made me cry "November Rain" - Guns N' Roses. My brother loved them, and he died Nov 1, 2006. It reminds me of him so much.

I almost never cry unless I'm in a lot of physical pain or if I'm mixed. I wish I could cry more, but I just can't.

Most recent movie was watching "Arrival" yesterday. Great movie; new enough that I don't want to give away too much to people who haven't seen it, but towards the end at one point you are hit with the realization that "she knew the whole time". Choked me up, especially since I didn't see it coming.

Most recent real life was Saturday at a NAMI parents meeting talking about my son who is IP right now.

Relationship breakups for obvious reasons, the certain sufferings people go through that I’m able to empathise with when I see people authentically restore faith in humanity in ways that get me I’m very overwhelmed by that. I used to cry over movies and song lyrics, but hopefully again soon

I'm not easy to make cry, unless I'm in a very horrible situation, usually a mixed episode, or experience a terrible loss (various sorts). As for movies, books, etc. I have had a couple I cried from. This may seem strange, but Amadeus (the movie) made me cry to an extreme. Not just because of Mozart's sad death, but the requiem music that accompanied it in the movie. In some ways I related to Mozart.

When depressed I had a situation in which I couldn't stop crying...bad depressive episode...I still cry easily, though (sappy commercial, sad song, movie endings.)... I sometimes wonder if I have sinus problems which affects my tear production.

This is a song that makes me cry every time:

Deployed military soldiers suprising their families when they come home and stories of children fighting cancer. These get me every single time, no matter what my mood is. Other than those I show hardly any emotions at all.

It usually depends with me that makes me cry but movie scenes seem to make me cry and the minute I watch it, I start to bawl my eyes out because I can relate with it so much. Silver Lining's Playbook when Tiffany is watching Pat talk to his ex wife and I sort of can relate with it because I was dealing with lots of issues at a time and a person was falling in love with somebody else and I basically could see him falling in love with somebody else right before me and give up on me.

Pat and Tiffany do end up together so that part makes me happy but just her watching Pat talk to his ex wife always seems to get to me. Each time I watch the scene, I cry because I always feel like people will give up on me the minute they find out I have bipolar and think I'm just some crazy "nut"

A advert for Ronald McDonald House made me cry....the humane society ads make me cry. Things that show weak and vulnerable beings tug at my lachrymose ducts.

I cry over far too many things and sometimes for no reason at all. My husband thinks I should have run out of tears by now. I agree.

I can’t handle animal abuse stories.

Sometimes I find myself crying in my car about various things involving personal pain.

Sometimes I have a flash of something about my late husband, and I just crack.

My medication pretty much keeps me from crying. The last two times I did cry were at my daughter’s graduation from high school and when a good friend that I grew up with died of cancer.

Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty (before your time). Puts me in mind of my first marriage...and all that badness/sadness...

My best friend bought me that record on vinyl way back when. And he died when we were 33. So Baker Street reminds me so much of him. My meds keep me from being able to cry, though.

Everything used to make me cry but it takes a little more with my current meds. A dogs purpose was the latest one to make me bawl my eyes out (book, not movie). I also really cried while reading all the bright places but the mental health themes really hit home for me. I also cried watching my daughter at her first dance recital. And I cry when I get too much of any emotion.

If an English teacher ever needs to explain how story is different than plot, that was one of the clearest examples I have ever seen. The plot was all sci-fi, the story not so much.
