I'm so restless. There are things that I want to do, but they don't hold my interest long enough to do them. I'll start a book and then think maybe there's another one I'll like better so I stop reading it. I'll start watching a movie. It doesn't hold my interest so I turn it off. Same with music. I start listening to one playlist, don't like it and then will start another one and then just turn it off. I hate being like this! I assume it may be a symptom of mania? I've never had this particular symptom of such restlessness before. Anyone else get like this?

I’m currently battling this myself.....it’s a chronic symptom for me which rarely subsided. I get it in depressed and mixed state worst of all. When manic I will go from one thing to the next to the next but they all interest me.....I get distracted easily and move to something else.....now I’m leaning more depressed and have a huge lack of interest. I’m trying to fight it. Bring it up to your doctor if you can.

I also wonder if I have add......it’s possible I do but just not sure and too scared to risk the potential mania right now to try the med. I watched someone go manic on ADHD meds and it’s not pretty, as mania rarely is.

I’m sorry you are dealing with this. I hope we both find a way to have more joy.
