I have a great, supportive group of three friends who know about my bipolar. My therapist always encourages me to reach to them for help when I'm in a major depressive funk.
The thing is, I don't know what even I would ask for. Some days I can't get out of bed. What do I even text my friends? "Hey, will you come physically drag me out of bed?"
They can't fix my brain. I don't know what to ask them.
When you ask friends (or an SO, or family, or whomever) for help, what do you ask for?

I think that since your friends are so supportive that u can just ask exactly what u need help with. So if u literally need help getting out of bed ask for it and have some sort of activity or eat together after u are out of bed to get u in giddie-up mode.
