I just got a volunteer position with the Crisis Text Line as a counselor! I start in January and finish training at the end of February. It's nice because I work from home, on the computer, where I'm already online all the time anyway. I can work anywhere from 4-12 hours per week---the schedule is very flexible---and take time for "mental health days" anytime.

Best thing about it is I'll be helping others, and who knows, maybe I'll save a life one day.

Thank you for being selfless and willing to help others.

We need more crisis counselors like you who can relate to people experiencing depression. It's always good to talk to someone who just "gets it". It makes a huge difference in my experience.
Thanks for this!
