The only two meds that have made me feel stupid are topamax and haldol. Right now I don't feel like any of my meds cause that.

Some meds slow my cognition. I haven't had a med cause me to ramble and disclose more than I'd wanted.

Is your med overly stimulating?

I hope you can sort this out!

I did something stupid that can get me in a lot of trouble at work by breaking confidentiality without even meaning it because of my rambling. I'm praying I don't get caught.

I used to ramble and do things like that all the time before I was on meds.

ingesting chemicals every day can certainly do it..

I have been on a few that I swear a rock had more sense than I.

Since you have recently increased Latuda that might be the one or Haldol .. I havent myself had trouble with Lamictal since its such a background med.

I don't overshare, but my meds make me feel like a box of rocks. I have to focus hard and not let my mind meander or else I'll forget what I was doing.

I feel just fine cognitively on my current mix of Tegretol XR, Seroquel XR, and low dose Lamictal and benzo. I do, however, sometimes become disinhibited and/or over talkative, but I attribute that to hypomania or anxiety related to excitement or mild social anxiety. I don't consider myself to ever be dumb.

I experienced really bad psychomotor retardation when I was in my last depressive phase. For me medication helped that go away and made me feel semi-intelligent again lol.

Hope you get it figured out!

My cognitive power is off. I dunno if it's the lamictal or the rispherdone but one of them is making me slow. It takes me forever to get my sentences out even if my mind is racing. I never used to have trouble with that but it's happening now. Plus, not to mention, my thinking is foggy/slow and forgetful. I blame it on my meds since I was on top of stuff before my meds. But stability is worth it.
