My therapist has been has been mentioning Sheppard Pratt to me for about a year now, and I have finally started to do some research. I always thought she wanted to refer me for bipolar, but it turns out that she wants me to go through the trauma program because of the years of childhood abuse I experienced. I read that many patients have more than one diagnosis when they enter the program, so it appears that all of my treatments would remain intact if I am accepted.
Has anyone been through or heard anything good or bad about the programs that are offered at these facilities? They are located in Maryland, near Baltimore.
Thanks,
Bluemountains
