How do you combat restlessness? I can't seem to sleep, or sit still. I feel like I need to be moving, or doing something, but with nothing to do or anywhere to go. My head feels heavy. It's a generally not a comforting feeling. It's gonna be one of those days I guess.

It might be the Abilify. My daughter's doctor prescribed Propranolol for the restlessness. It worked. (I'm not a medical professional. Consult your p-doc)

When I am really restless I take a benzo. That tends to slow me down and bring me back to earth. Propranolo is another good med

I have akathisia from the Latuda. I went to the lowest therapeutic dose, and take Artane to counter what's left. Seems to work well. YMMV.

Not sure this is a good idea for all, but when I feel restless like that I drive. Get in the car and go. Go anywhere that is not here. Blast my favorite tunes loud and sing along.

I hope that uncomfortable feeling doesn't last long for you. Take it easy.
