My dear husband has been soooo sick. And now he has a big sore on his forehead. Any ideas if sores go with the flu? I googled it and the only thing they say is about lip sores. Any ideas or experiences?

He could have a skin infection like cellulitis or staph infection since his immune system has been down. Definitely time for a trip to doctor. I’m sorry you have to deal with all this!!!

I'd call to get in to the Dr or visit urgent care.

I agree that he needs to be checked out. Christmas Eve is a lousy time to need a doctor but better that than an emergency on Christmas day when you have small children. That sounds like it might be MRSA which needs treatment and shows up when your immune system is compromised.

I just checked his sore and it is smaller and he has no new spots. So I think he will be fine. He is definitely feeling better as well. Merry Christmas eve everyone!

Was this caused by a bug bite of some kind ? I had a spot on my cheek last year and only thing that made sense was a insect bite...

Hope it clears up quickly.

Merry Christmas
