Let's just say this:
That feeling you get when you've been working for a whole month and realize yesterday that you did everything completely wrong, and now you have to redo a whole month's worth of work. Fml. Now I'm stressed because I'm so behind. I spent all day yesterday trying to identify the problem, and I ultimately figured out what I did wrong, but now I have to start from scratch again. ![]() Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit Yesterday I went to the office and worked from 6:30am until 7:10pm. I got in at 6:45am today and now I'll likely be working until AT LEAST 7pm. Then the cleaning people are going to give me weird looks again because I'll be the only one there at 7pm... AGAIN. Stress nearly always induces episodes. |

Yeah stress was a big trigger for me. The last job I worked at decided I should do VBA and automate reports and it killed my brain. Ended up in the psych ward 3 times cause I was in a bad mixed episode for a long time and after the 3rd psych ward visit I got fired at that job. So **** VBA. I hate it. It makes no damn sense in my brain. I feel ya. When I was working on the VBA projects it would take me so long cause I had no idea what I was doing and they didn't offer training. So **** IBM. I feel for ya. At another job every month I had to do one report and could never remember which numbers when into debits and credits towards the end before I got fired and it was a $1million+ account. oops. **** happens though. Don't beat yourself up too much. Remember to take breaks. Get up walk around a bit, do some deep breathing. If you smoke, go out with the smokers. Tell some jokes. Be diligent with your meds. Take them every day as prescribed at the same time. Use PRNs if you need to. Remember to eat. Do all the self care you need to. You'll get through it. If you know an episode is coming on sometimes you can stop it before it happens. Keep your pdoc in the loop. They can help you through things. Man I wish i knew all this **** when I was working.

Work stress is probably the main trigger for my anxiety. But I have a different problem: I can't deal with my work, I get overwhelmed and I leave as early as I can. But either way, work is putting a lot of stress on people who are already struggling with emotional issues.
I've been under a lot stress today so my anxiety shot up. I'm starting to have that weird derealization thing. I want to go home asap ![]() |
