I've noticed that every time I'm about to enter hypomania, weird things happen to me. For example, a few days before I went manic last month, I saw my dog jump off the couch only to look back again and see it still sleeping. I kinda just brushed it off as a glitch.

Now I'm wondering if it could be a warning sign because my mood has been increasing steadily the past few days and just now I started to hear this calming music play and some knocking around outside the door. I thoroughly searched up and down for any devices that could have been playing music, but I couldn't find anything. The knocking especially caught me off guard because I'm the only one in the house right now.

I'm worried that I might be going hypomanic again based on this and the fact that I've been feeling less and less tired and more and more cheerful lately.

I notice when I'm approaching and even into mania that I have little "glitches" too. Auditory abnormalities, though minor, are the usual ones of those. Usually it's no more than a drawn out phaser sound but it's been as far as voices and music. The voices are my inner voices, of which there are three, and they are distinct. I'm not split personality, I've been checked. It's me talking to me. I write most of the visuals off as acid flashbacks, which sometimes last a few minutes even, but sometimes it's one thing that morphs, but only slightly.
Does any of this seem similar?

When I start experiencing weird things it’s always been a good predictor for a mood episode coming on, I’ve had odd things happen when I’m going into a depressive episode. So I’m sure it can happen for hypomanic episodes as well. I haven’t found anything that helps yet. Usually when I tell my doctor they up my Risperdal. Then we go from there.

Those happen to me all the time. Very vivid too. Some last a long time.

Yeah I definitely think I'm going up. I just cleaned my room, and I never do that unless my mood is going up. I vacuumed and everything!

For real though, I'm kind of worried because last time this happened it went mixed and I was hospitalized.

How’s your sleep ? If I start losing sleep with visual and auditory hallucinations show up. I know I’m heading into hell.
