I'm dreading the fact that hubby is hoping to come home and see dinner on the table. Yes, I could order delivery, but he probably will be sad to see that. Plus, I'd have to get dressed to meet the delivery person at the door.

If I ask hubby to pick something up on his way home he'll say "I'll just eat bread and butter."

I'm glad my psychiatrist gave me a longer appointment for this Friday.

I've been about as productive today so far. I'm getting up now to go to that place I go most days. Feel better soon

Those days kind of suck, but I believe they can be necessary. A broken bone needs time to heal and so does the mind. Hugs friend.

I can relate. My partner and I have been ordering takeout more often, I think this time of year is difficult for many people. Just be easy on yourself and do the best you can. If that's making dinner, great. If it's ordering food, that's OK too. Your husband should be understanding and grateful either way.

Thanks for this!

Thanks, everyone! I don't think I will get dressed. I did just offer to boil some hot dogs for hubby. Luckily he acted very enthusiastic about them...knowing where I am. Actually, he likes hot dogs, but is more used to fancier meals, when I'm well.

All the best to everyone also in this spot.

All I've eaten today so far are two small pieces of cake, a banana with peanut butter on it, and half a Clementine from my pet parrot's fresh food dish. I treat my parrot way better than myself. I haven't had much to drink, either. One glass of water, one cup of coffee, and only now a glass of unsweetened ice tea.

I was crying earlier and my parrot felt concerned and came to me. I love him.

You're bird is sweet.

I wouldn't worry too much about delivery people. I think that they are like doctors - They have seen just about everything. Remember, they deliver to college kids

BirdDancer,

In re liquid intake - you use the term “ice tea.” Is that common in your region?

I have always used the more accepted term “iced tea,” and I wonder if there is a regional difference for one or the other.

Oh. I stay naked and in bed most days. I keep the heat high during cold winter days. I cannot imagine being responsible for another’s feeding. I am barely able to feed myself.
