I got an ultrasound yesterday and they called me with the results today. Gallbladder was fine, but I have fatty liver disease. I don't even drink alcohol. They told me to cut out carbs and to start exercising. Maaaaaaaaan. Now I can't have muffins at the coffee shop. Or baked potatoes. I'm thinking about doing the keto diet, but still need to do more research. This sucks. I like muffins. Gonna figure out what to do and start on Saturday. Guess I gotta give up sweet tea too. ;alksdjhgp;aghpagu. Oh well. It's always something.

Hm-m-m-m... no sweets, no potatoes? I bet you can't have bread either? I don't think I could do it. Best wishes for great success with your new diet though...

I have a fatty liver also. I’m still trying to adjust what I can and can’t eat.

I’m glad you at least caught it early , it can be fixed with proper foods and exercise

I think it's been like this for a while. Have been having high numbers on my liver function test for a long time. My GI just finally decided to look into it at the end of last year. Would explain the fatigue though. I'm not looking forward to changing my diet again.

I have it as well. One of my enzymes did go down, but I don't know how. Everything is a balancing act as far as that goes.

I had an old FB friend of mine do the keto diet. She lost weight and she was happy. Last time I read her blog she's still doing it.

One of my friends helped me find a nutritionist today. The nutritionist they found does personalized diet plans and is not the kind to just hand you a sheet of paper like the ones tied to hospitals and drs offices. I've never had a pleasant experience with them. I'm hopeful for this one though because they look at the whole picture and do a more holistic approach. My appointment is on the 26th, so I just gotta kinda fudge it before then. Cutting carbs is hard. Carbs are in a lot of things. I went to aldi and got some food this afternoon. Apparently hummus is low in carbs. I got some carrots to eat it with. I got some berries and apples too. I'm gonna get my helper to make some mini turkey meatloafs tonight and find out if he understands how to sautee mushrooms haha.

I am so tired today, but I got my errands done which was important. If med time wasn't at 5 I could totally take a nap now. I never even started a fire today just bundled the wendy up so she wouldn't shiver. She sits next to me under the covers all day anyways.
