Happy to hear you had a nice dinner with your husband

I rarely touch alcohol, it is to risky for me- it just take down every defence and I often end either depressed or on the edge of psychotic. A few times I am normal.

Oh, yeah- I had a question: I see you take 1000mg magnesium, which is way above the recommended daily dose. I have been taking 600mg so not to get restless legs from the seroquel- but then get anxious whether it is too much or not.

Is there a reason you take that much? Do your GP know it? Is he/she okay with it?
Do you feel any side-effect taking that much?

Lol, many questions, but I think if you are okay on that much, I can keep taking my double dose.
(I will ask my GP next week when I ser him, I know what works for one person might not work for another person)

I think I read somewhere that many psych medication makes you need more vitamins. Or something like that.
I am new to medication so haven’t read that much yet.

Hope you have a nice day today

Welcome to the forums!
I take 1000mg of mag for the laxative effect. It is the only thing that works consistently for me.
mag is needed for bone growth.and other things as well.
I take a bunch of supplements and they are not cheap either.
have a good day.

Thank you for answering, I do get anxious over stupid things sometimes. Thank you very much, it helped ease my mind.

I do as well, take supplements. My brain tells me to do it.

Coffee with creamer
lunch: beef lasagna and collard greens and beets
I did not have any caffeine after lunch like usual see if it was interferring with my sleep.
dinner was sauteed in coconut oil lemon pepper talapia.
side of steamed mixed veggies and a piece of havarti cheese
and a la croix to drink. (sparkling water)
tea is brewed and waiting for my return.
I will bring a bottled water flavored with my stevia that is flavored toffee.
Getting ready to go to the gym, am psyching myself up!
maybe popcorn if I feel like it with jerry seindeld.
Saw my Therapist today, was honest and forthcoming.
She appreciated my honesty.
So that was good.

I gave up soda for Lent -- so day 2! It's hard for me because of the large amount of soda -- that is sugar and caffeine, I consume. I take headache medicine with caffeine once a day and drink a glass of tea with my dinner but it's nothing compared to a regular day. I'm starting off OK!

I'm glad you were honest with your therapist and things have been going well for you bizi. That is great.

Thanks for responding. soda is hard to give up.
You will lose weight if that is something that you worry about.
Hopefully I will lose weight by not drinking.
Well, I went to the gym today. Walked about half an hour 1.25 miles. so It is a start. I also upgraded my membership so that I can use the hydo therapy bed and the massage chair. worth the extra 13 dollars a month.
I enjoyed the machines the hydo the best though.
Really, I am hoping that I sleep well tonight. I am tired from not sleeping well.
Took an aleve tonight at 6 pm. so am hoping that it gets me thru the night.
Getting my hair colored in the morning. I work saturday making up for being off tuesday.
Have a great friday and thank you for reading!

Damn, Bizi! When you tell us of your meals, it makes me hungry! You sure eat well. You must be a wonderful cook! You did, however, eat "turf" on Ash Wednesday...I'm sure there's forgiveness out there for you somewhere.

BTW, I'm not Catholic (my girlfriend is, though). I can eat like a pig during lent, but GF keeps a strict diet. I think I'd be resentful if I were her!

I slept better!
slept from 11;30-4;30 straight, got up to pee and then back to bed till 7am. I will continue to limit my caffeine intake. nothing after noon.
I think the hydo machine helped to relax me and the massage chair loosened my back enough for me to give it a good cracking, release some tension.
My weight is up not happy about that.
Was off my diet over mardi gras season 10 days...Made bad food choices so what am I to suspect?
Have a great weekend!
WE will have a new mail box, 100 year old chicago bricks!
It should be nice, keeping fingers crossed!
1st phase of our remodel.
Foundation is next...now that won't be fun! and very expensive!

I think it is a great idea you had to create this thread, bizi and I will be reading it to see how it is going for you. Know that I am cheering you on! Picture me like this: LOL! (Because if course I don't actually look like that , but it is more fun that way. )

What is a hydro therapy bed all about?

Thank you innerzone!
a hydro bed is like a water massage bed you lay on top of a plastic sheet and water jets up along your body and you don't get wet!
You can dictate where the water goes like where you need a bit more massage. It is great!
have a good weekend yall.
Yes I am glad that I started a thread so it is easier to keep up.

What are some alternatives you can think of?
Did you go to the gym today? Maybe even go out for a walk?
Have you thought of making a list for such times that you can easily refer to for ideas?

Sending positive vibes your way!

It is friday night and normally we go to whole foods for trivia in the bar. (I know a bar!). Hubby went with out me. I have nothing in the house so that was good. I chew gum when I am snacky, have hot tea to drink, my best alternative drink is La Croix sparkling water flavored cranberry.

Wow, dejavue....WE just had a scare....Little back ground...When we bought this house after a while we had many strange things happen in the house unexplainable things. cabinet doors opened, objects moved. a burner on high when we returned home one night. What finally got me was when the dining room chair had been turned all the way up side down. So I went to an indian shop and bought some sage and smudged the house. Burned the sage and went around all corners and windows and door, asking the spirits to leave. I thought we had a ghost. hubby doesn't believe in ghosts but he could not explain these things away. So after doing the smudging all of those things stopped. and we were so relieved. Then about 3 years ago things started happening again. so I got out the old stick and it would hardly stay lite I rushed the blessings and it didnot work things still happened. Finally got a new stick and lite the sage and some incense and very forcefully asked it to leave and as I was going out the back door I yelled. "GET THE F@CK OUT OF MY HOUSE" It worked.
So speed up to today. A little bit ago..My purse just fell off the counter hubby stopped playing his classical guitar and looked at the purse and went back to practicing. The 45 seconds later a note book fell on the floor. It gave him goose bumps and it did me too when he told me what happened. God I hope other things don't start happening again.

I took my meds after dinner. I stopped caffeine after noon and I remained alcohol free. So it was a win tonight!
Had a pork chop sauteed in coconut oil for dinner with green beans, a slice of cheese and some almonds. So it was a good dinner.
I hope I sleep well tonight.
I am working tomorrow, Seeing 3 clients. I do foot care for the elderly in their homes. Love my job!!
Getting ready to watch 2 episodes of Jerry Seinfeld and head to bed.
Thank you for reading.
