Is anyone else here a light sleeper?

It snowed 6 inches here last night. The plow just came by and... *kkkkk... POW* The plow slammed its scraped up snow into the massive wall of snow it was creating.

I'm exhausted now. My sleep is all screwy. Can't fall back asleep.

If enough of this happens, it's going to trigger an episode.

When I fall asleep I'm dead to the world until I wake up the next morning. Most of the time an alarm won't even wake me up.

I am a light sleeper. Almost anything can wake me up. The plows were out here early this morning, too. Scraping and banging around the whole neighborhood. I can't lose much sleep before I am in trouble.

I hope you get a nap in today, if you need one.

Had to turn the air conditioner on so I can sleep. Record highs here in the South.

Anything wakes me
Just walking into my room does it.

I’ve been a light sleeper since childhood

I sleep like a log......my problem is lacking the self-discipline to go to bed on time. I'm usually in my workshop at 1 AM building a model and listening to Alice in Chains.

I am the same EXACT way. The self-discipline is the hardest thing for me to go to bed on time. But the medication I am on, just knocks me out.

However, when trying to get to sleep, if there are any noises outside (my neighbor used to have an air conditioner that had a weird beep every 10 seconds that used to drive me nute!!), I have a hard time falling asleep.

Maybe try the melatonin like someone else suggested, it can be really helpful.
