I don't know if this qualifies as "chronic fatigue" but lately I have been noticing that even though I have a regular sleep schedule and I get enough sleep (most of the time) I am always exhausted. Is this just a function of BP or could it be something else?

OMFG I feel like boiled crap most days. Fatigue during the day, energizes at night. I used to do a ton of uppers...maybe that's it? Nah, it's a bipolar thing

I have fibro , chronic fatigue and chronic pain. I’m always tired

Have you had a physical with blood work lately ? Your thyroid or hormones could be off. Always best to get a good physical and then go from there

I’ve been reading up on lithium since I’ve been placed on it. There’s a doctor on YouTube that talks about prescribing lithium for back muscle spasm pain, and in this same video he mentions that lithium works on fibromyalgia too.

I read in a separate article from him that a significant number of fibromyalgia patients are bipolar.

Interesting. I have to say when I’m depressed (and anxious—these go hand in had), my whole body hurts. I told my psychiatrist, and she just said it’s the depression.

I have fatigue, but in my case I think it’s a side effect of my meds.

I’m always tired too but I think it’s a med side effect for me. When I was on different meds I didn’t have that effect.

You might consider a sleep study. Sleep apnea could explain it.

It could be anything and/or a mixture of a number of things.

I agree with Christina. If the level of fatigue is new to you, please be sure there is no physical explanation. Have a physical with comprehensive lab work.

Closertothemid mentions sleep apnea. Another important idea.

Like Christina, I have chronic pain and fatiguing illnesses.

If you are looking for the specific "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" criteria and are in the U.S., search under SEID, as that is the newer name in the U.S., with updated diagnostic info. SEID = Systemic Exertional Intolerance Disorder.

I hope you can identify any factors contributing to your fatigue... soon.

To those who have mentioned fibromyalgia -- i did some googling today and found that that may fit with what I've been feeling lately (chronic fatigue, chest pain, back pain). But I also have a tendency to overreact... since I'm abroad I don't have access to my normal doctor but if this persists maybe I will try to find a doctor here
