Sorry, not sure where to post this..

https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types

Also, if you've tried it, please announce results. I got INTP and it made me smile with joy. Finally a test that doesn't make you feel miserable.

But what's your take on the whole thing?

This was excellent!! I had been looking for a Personality Test online that doesn't make you pay out of the...well, you know what!

I am excited about my results too, and honestly a little cocky about it, (but then again I am not surprised by that either.

Here is my results in a nutshell:

Campaigner Personality (ENFP, -A/-T)

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.

The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd.

Campaigners are fiercely independent, and much more than stability and security, they crave creativity and freedom.

Few personality types are as creative and charismatic as Campaigners. Known for their idealism and enthusiasm, Campaigners are good at dealing with unexpected challenges and brightening the lives of those around them. Campaigners’ imagination is invaluable in many areas, including their own personal growth.

I love this very much!! Thanks so much 2ISAV, for sharing, it definitely does the opposite of making you feel miserable.

I’m INFP. I did the professional test rather than an online version so it came with a lot of information, none of which I have with me right now. I’m on the borderline between feeling and thinking. It’s an interesting test. I’ll find the report and post a bit more later.

Every time I've taken it, however the questions are set up, "INFP," this one does the minus too, and it gives me "INFP-T."
The test was created as a parlor game by a couple of uneducated and bored socialites. Maybe they knew something, but they even admitted it's just a parlor game.

I used to be obsesssed with MBTI. I dont trust a lot of the tests because most of them go by dichotimies as opposed to the actual function (ESFJ and INTP have more in common function-wise than INTP and INTJ, but you wouldn't know that from how most free online tests explain the results).
That being said, I'm an ISTP. Ti-Se-Ni-Fe.

Interesting. I'm a mediator (INFP-T). I don't know what INFP-T means.

I wonder what it will read if I take it again fully stabilized.

They say INFP is the rare one. I think it's because the extroverts are hogging the light.

I've taken the test multiple times over the years. I score either:

INTJ
ENTP

I'm not strong on introvert vs. extrovert or judger vs. perceiver.

An employer administered the exam several years ago. They said the "ideal" result was to be in the middle--not score heavily in any area. I guess that's what they were looking for.

As far as what I think - I like that ENTP is "Bugs Bunny!"

I bounce between ISFJ and INFJ, depending upon my mood.

I've taken several tests like these over the years and they don't change much.

I think it's a gimmick. As I recall it was dreamt up by a bored housewife. Most people will not fall definitely into any one square for most of its personality categories. If you definitely do (say introspective) then you probably already know that about yourself. There are a gazillion other "personality" test because it's pretty easy to invent them. You could even try doing that yourself.

I always get the result INFJ. It says INFJ is the rarest type. I'm not sure why it is rare, but it does fit me well. It also says INFJ's often feel very misunderstood, and I've felt that way my whole life. I like my quiet time, I am absolutely a "feeler" rather than a "thinker." I'm intuitive and sort of absorb the emotions of other people and take them on myself. I get lost in my own mind very often. As far as "judging" vs "perceiving," the "judging" result fits me, since I seek closure and feel more secure when I plan things out to achieve goals.

I do think the test should be taken with a grain of salt though. I don't think it really is of any real value, but I just like taking these kind of tests for fun for some reason.

I’ve had to do this in the past as part of pre employment psychometric testing. I can’t remember what I was. I do remember my employers being pleased because I had traits from all the types.
Stupid thing was that if the employers had spent more time with each employee they could’ve figured us out without the testing.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think it is fun. The results are always a positive for any type.

I prefer Strength Finder. It seems more informative.

I'm an ICTM-d personality type, "I cuss too much, d'mmit."
I did the "high 5" test earlier. It told me to be a coach. It doesn't know I don't care about sports at all. Someone recently told me they were watching the wizards and I thought they were talking about Harry Potter and I then wondered if that were still a thing.
