|
So, I finally got a new pdoc. Well, pnurse, but whatever.
Apparently the guy is really good and really nice, but my first appt is April 15th!! It was the earliest available appt and he was the only pdoc/pnurse I could find. It sucks because now I'm waiting literally a month and a half! I just hope I don't have any episodes between now and then, as I have no one to contact. I'm basically out in the Wild West here... and my therapist says I'm hearing things. |

Okay, if you need assessment and medication sooner than your appointment, please go to your closest ER. It is essential to prevent an episode. The ER is a very good resource for people with mental illness who need meds NOW, rather than waiting over a month.

Hey blue, good advice from WC. I just had my pdoc appt yday and she can’t get me in again until May but they did put me on a cancellation list. Good luck!!

 Sorry for being non-responsiveI'll try the cancellation list, if they have one. I'm doing ok. The voices and sounds come and go, but haven't had them for 3 days now. Sometimes I get voices outside of episodes, so it may not be an episodal thing. |
