How many of you have problems periodically for cycling throughout the week? Have you found anything that helps?

I have BPII, and for several months now am having the problem of bouncing between normal mood and depression repeatedly throughout the week. I'm not having hypomania though. Maybe my meds are working well for that?? I'm going to be going up on my trileptal to see if that helps. If not, I'll probably raise my latuda too. This kind of cycling isn't typical for me, but I do have periods that it has occured over the last 6 years. In the past, I've had hypomania with it. It's driving me bonkers. I'll be totally fine and normal and then BAM depressed and barely able (or unable) to function for a day or two.

I am stuck in a depression. I don't cycle much at all.

I am sorry you are going through this. Is this related to Spring?

No, it's not related to spring. It's been occuring for a good 6 months. In that time, I've had two months where it kind of chilled out.

May have spoke a little soon on the hypomania. Today I'm pretty irritable and have a restless energy. Still feel a bit depressed too. This could be related to spring. Concerning for sure. It was this time last year I had that major crash then ended up mixed.

Thanks for this!

Latuda helped me with that but it made me stomach sick so I stopped taking it. I just realize you said you were on that but raising Latuda would probably help you. I was pretty much in the same boat.

I've been rapid cycling the past two weeks, which is super unusual for me. It really sucks and I'm sorry you're going through it too. Much support and empathy from me.

I'm still trying to determine with my doctors what exactly is going on, but from my own educated guess, I'd say I've been rapid cycling, but due to menses complicating it. But last week I was fluctuating normal and depressed but had a hypo day and then back down to low low today. It's either my hypo is part of my normal or sometimes I'm mixed and don't realize it. Like, maybe I'm even mixed today, because even though mood and energy is low, my obsessing over the internet, checking this site on and off all day to kill the boredom. *sigh
