So guys, it's sinking in. There may be more to this story than I'm telling, but it's not from my part-- I really know very little in terms of reasonings for the things that have happened professionally, I've not been well liked by my school district (I'm a school teacher).

I struggle everyday wit personal problems, but my evaulations are good, my rapport with my school is good... I lost my job last year without reason (at-will employment) and my principal rehired me because he was angry how they did things.... well i got news today even though its not official, I won't be rehired next year..... next year would mark my tenure where I would be garanteed a job unless something extravagent happened.

I'm hurt but not surprised. I've never been good enough for them or anyone. It's probably for the best but I don't even know where to go from here. I was only able to get a college degree by leaving my family behind in many senses. I was only able to maintain a job by literally jumping out of a moving car. I worked so hard these last 4 years to be where I am to watch security crumble. It hurts but in the end I know I'm not good enough to be there as it is.

I don't really know how to move forward.. but I just wanted a chance to get it out. Thanks for reading.

If extravagent comes to extravagant, I think you should be re-hired.

The way teachers are being treated by the very system that pays them, jobs will be open in the field. I know Kentucky has lost a large number of educators over this retirement issue. Can't say I recommend people go into the teaching profession, but it's a noble and admirable thing to do. Thank you for your service to the world.
