So I’m off to hospital again. This time for mania which is increasing. If i’m not careful I’ll end up psychotic.
I’m on lots of Lithium, Seroquel QID and Epilim with prn Valium (20mg per day at the moment). No effect. Nada. It’s like I’ve eaten jelly beans.
I haven’t been admitted for mania for 3yrs so not looking forward to it. A whole lot of people going tut tut, you can’t do that.

Good luck. I know hospitalizations suck. Hopefully, they can get you stabilized, and you can be back home ASAP. Family & friends don't understand. Only you know what you need.

It could be your epilim. My sisters were having undesirable results on that. I'm not sure what they're on now though.

However, your high tolerance for Valium is alarming. Do you think tapering down to a more effective (good enough that works) dose a possibility?

I'm also protective about my medication, but I'm always testing to see how functional I really am on a lower dose to avoid psychological dependency and drug seeking behavior.

In theory it sounds great, but it's a start. Please make an Anonymous call to your pharmacy for advice and or the number you have in case of an emergency.

Hmm not to be taken lightly as your tone suggests.
