I met friends every
Friday when I got home From my first in-patient stay. They pretended not to know That I had been admitted, Which suited me down to a tee. I really shouldn't have been Drinking at all, but I did. A bubbly girl who Knocked about with us At school came by To catch up with Tia Maria. And she spoke about Who got into university. And she said, Nick is a stud Leigh is a slut ! I was just out Of the psych ward I was in no position To stick up for her And point out her Contradiction and double standards. My pals invited Some people from Their college class. A stoner boy said I was hot And we all just laughed. This other lady Was friends with Fred's sister. And she was trying to Impress a boy Too many years her junior. She seen me at The bar with lipstick And she simply said: I knew you would be here. I'm not certain what She was attempting to imply. But she scowled at me Every time I spoke to,Brahma |

Oh, the power of words.
This reminds me how much perception colours our world, the existence of all around us. Cheers. __________________ >< |
