Seemed to lift me from the slight depression I had been feeling. I have even felt just a tad hypo. Not bad (yet, anyway) and when I originally ramped up on lamictal I got hypo and then stable so maybe the same pattern with a boost. But it's nice to pull out of the gloom.

If it happened the last time I would t worry about it unless it goes on or gets worse. Glad you’re feeling better!

my current shrink tells me that lamictal is a "true mood stabilizer," in that it deals with both ends of the spectrum and reduces agitation. I'm on 200mgs, which is apparently a good dose for me, with the Abilify on board.

I noticed some increase in energy levels while increasing the dose, then...nothing. 100mgs x2 daily, and I'm remarkably...gasp...stable, nothing too "crazy" to report, LOL.

my former shrink said he'd go up to 600mgs/daily in some people. ugh. i cannot imagine. still, probably easier to tolerate and less toxic than lithium...

Lamictal has been really good for me. 200mg twice a day.

It was good for me at 100 a day for a year. Just went to 150 with the possibility of going to 200 if 150 didn't make a noticeable difference. It has, so I think I will stay at this dose for now, assuming I don't go full hypo. I am in a pretty good place right now; maybe slightly more up than center but I haven't gotten smug and superior, talking over the top of people.

@still_crazy - It's good to hear that the little bump up and then stabilizing is common, or at least isn't just me.
