I am grateful for the friends, including my boyfriend, who have stuck by me through all my ups, downs, and in-betweens! They have given me love and support when I had none to give myself and still saw me as me and not just my current mood or my mental health issues.
Thanks for this!

I’m grateful for being able to get my son a new bike for his birthday Monday. He’ll be so excited. As a single mom, money is tight— so being able to get him something he wants makes me feel thankful.

I’m also so thankful for the health of all my children. I worry about their well-being a lot, and my biggest gratitude goes to their health and safety.

I'm grateful my daughter went with her boyfriend's mother to a graduation party with people she doesn't even know. She just does things like this for people she cares about.
I'm grateful for being able to sit here and type.
I'm grateful for salads so we can have a cold dinner on a hot day.

I am grateful for Clozapine's ability to counteract my elevated mood. It makes me depressed and we will be looking for a solutions for that (I am starting on Wellbutrin tomorrow morning), and the solution may be hard to find, but at least there is a drug that instantly stops elevated mood.

I am grateful for Facebook - today I saw a video of a dancing couple in which the man has only one leg and uses a crutch, and a photo of a man who posted his personal success of running in a manual wheel chair for 3 straight hours, covering a distance of 15K. I became inspired by the news.

I am grateful to have met a wonderful man who is sincere and honest. He treated me well and like a lady. I feel blessed. He is truly blessed and is a good man with a excellent character. I hope we develop a relationship that will blossom into something beautiful. Thank you, God, for putting him in my path. I am happy for once. I am also grateful for what I have in my life. I don't have much but may be rich in spirit. I feel great about my life. I am all smiles for now.
Thanks for this!

I am grateful for the not-so-smart people. Without them, I'll be mopping someone's floor.

I am grateful for me being alive. “If you can get up in the morning, you are ahead of the game”, a quote from a mortician. He should know. I am fortunate in having a family, with especially my daughter, but also her mother and brothers and sister. I am fortunate for my friend and his mother in Michigan, which is where I came from. Oh yes, I have a cat to chase all over the place. This is good exercise. Boy that bugger is fast!

I am very grateful that after some frightening episodes, my BF was prescribed seroquel and, not only is it working, but he has continued to take it and has no complaints about it(!) (very unusual...)

Also grateful we're not really part of the current heatwave!

I was so grateful this afternoon when an older female stranger made a pleasant gesture at the grocery store. I told her how much I appreciated it. I said that so few people in public are pleasant any more. Many are downright aggressive. Not that there are no kind people, but way fewer than we really need. I try to be friendly when I'm up to it. I'm at least not unfriendly without justifiable provocation. Though some people seem to appreciate friendliness, others not as much. The kindest people I know in my community happen to be people originally from Mexico and Central America. Truly! Knowing some of the lies and unfair generalizations made about the people from those parts of the world make me so angry!

I live in a Mid Atlantic state. Obviously, parts of this region have a reputation for being less friendly than people in other states, but it doesn't apply everywhere in the region. There is a beauty about some areas in my region. It is a melting pot where people tend to be more accepting of people from other cultures than some places in the country with more of a friendly (or selectively friendly) reputation.

I am grateful for what I have and for my parents although they like to bite me once in awhile. I am clothed, fed, and sheltered. I can walk everywhere I want without any problems. I have the freedom to do as I please in my apartment. I am happy that the weather is not rainy season anymore.

hugs!

usually I'd say no to a hug because it's an invasion of my personal space, but I know at least 3 people who give really good hugs
Thanks for this!

Possible trigger:

One I was listed as terminaly ill. I could not lift my head off of the pillow. Another is the boat turned over and left me in water that was in the fourties. Before the person expires, they lose consciousness. This was what happened to me. I was rescued just in time by a couple of teenagers that heard me yelllng before I lost consciousness. They were the only people around the lake. There were other times too.

I am very thankful I am still alive.
