Yesterday I went for a bike ride and fell off my bike
I am grateful that I fell on the grass and not pavement.
Even today I am still grateful for that...even though I have a skinned knee

I am grateful I am not doing worse than I am, and at least have some insight. Also for this and other forums which help me gain more insight into my illness and the things I never understood about myself. Thanks <3

I am grateful for the people around me, family and friends. In particular this week for my best friend who always knows just what to say.

I am grateful for medications that work and a therapist who gets me.

I am grateful for nature which allows me to feel the depths of my soul.

I'm grateful that my meds are working. At this point I would be hypomanic or worse.

I am very grateful for being a part of a caring step family. I have my daughter, two step sons, and a step daughter. They have their share of problems, like any other family does, but I am still happy to be in their lives. Being a part of an actual family makes me very happy.

I just saw the documentary about Mr. Rogers, and I'm grateful for him and the messages he shared with children.

I'm grateful for my daughter and her friends. They all pitch in to help her out.

I'm grateful that my daughter can talk to me about what's going on. There was a long time that she didn't and it was hard.

Fharraige, I too am grateful my sons can talk to me about anything. Thanks for reminding me how awesome that is. Btw, just curious, but how did you come up with your user name? It's interesting.

I am grateful for solitude, stillness, and calm - trying to find some positive side to depression.

I've been teaching someone how to use the forum and they finally posted something!. I feel so proud of them, and myself for showing them how to do it

next I plan to show them how to do private messages

feels good when someone joins the site on your suggestion

Grateful for my niece and nephews. They are such joys, so full of energy and happiness. They are one of the reasons I keep going. I enjoy being a positive influence in their lives, and get lots of hugs and smiles in return! Being an aunt is one of the best roles I could ask for in life. They give me a reason to stick around.

It's Irish Gaelic for "seashore". I found it on a song by Maire Brennan.

I'm grateful for good food and great company.

Also my daughter's move-in date for her apartment is now the 27th. I'm grateful for that and getting our living room back--it's full of boxes!
