Soooo just a silly question.

I’m bipolar and I am a cancer which are known to be moody... are any of you cancers?

No, I'm not...but you're only referring to someone having a Cancer sun. There are many, many aspects to one's horoscope. For example, a person might have *whatever* as a sun sign, but have Cancer or another sign known for being especially emotional in another aspect of their chart. Pluto has a lot to do with the "darker"aspects of the personality. The 12th house can hold a lot of info about mental health challenges.

If you're interested in astrology, here are some excellent online resources:

astrodienst.com

cafeastrology.com

Google astrolocherry and check out her site. It's amazing.

I have a Capricorn sun, Aquarius moon, and Gemini rising. I do have Cancer in my 2nd and 3rd houses, but almost everyone is going to have Cancer in some aspect of their chart.

I'm a Virgo - September born. I've never followed Astrology though.

If you ask this question, people who have the cancer sign are much more likely to respond, which would create an illusion that there is an overrepresentation of "cancers" in the bipolar population, because they are "known to be moody".

My Zodiac sign is Saggitarius and I just responded to explain the type of bias at play that would create the illusion of overrepresentation.

I don't think zodiac signs have a thing to do with it. I am an Aquarius or a Capricorn, it depends on which zodiac calendar you consult. My birthday falls on Jan. 20, which one zodiac calendar puts as Aquarius and the other as Capricorn. Hence, my belief that astrology has not much to do with life at all since it can't even decide which sign I am!

I don't think there's any evidence zodiac signs correlate with bipolar. I'm a taurus.

I'm a Virgo but I have Cancer ascendent.

I also have a Leo Moon, which means I'm a drama queen. Okay...

Take what you want and leave the rest.
