Not to be a smart *** but I would say fear of abandonment. It is a common thing even in those without diagnosable disorders. However, it is very common in borderline personality disorder. Not saying you have that just saying it’s common with that.

My first thought is, Have you been abandoned in the past? Especially when you were a child?
My next thought is, Is this kind of fear something that you struggle with throughout your life, or does your abandonment fear apply specifically to a certain group of friends? |
