This might sound really silly, but just wondering how people knew their mixed episode was done? Did it just slowly fade? Like, I can tell I am doing better, but still feel both "happy" overall (but not euphoric and/or extremely irritable/angry) and depressed in the background with SI and some violent thoughts. Now I am wondering if this means I am back to baseline (SI is not my baseline, but I haven't been able to shake it during this depressed/mixed episode since September). I was extremely angry/irritable until 2 days ago, so it hasn't been long since that symptom ended. I feel disoriented still and am just trying to learn to trust myself and my thoughts and emotions again. Sorry if this doesn't even make sense, just hoping for feedback/support. Thanks.

Thanks to medication(lithium, mostly), mine come and go pretty quickly, 2-3 hours. There may be others I'm not aware of, but the worst ones are really obvious, i feel terrible and yell and scream much of the time. I sometimes crash into depression, sometimes mania symptoms hang on for days, particularly me thinking I'm right.
