I'd take it back. Don't take any of it because you don't know what's really in it.

It should be sealed. If they took out any of the pills previously, they should have put your quantity in an official drug store bottle, with a new sticker. If that unsealed bottle contains the full amount indicated on the original bottle you have, then I'd call the pharmacy. The bad thing is that some (maybe not all) pharmacies won't take back the meds after a customer leaves the premises. For that reason, I always scruitinize them before leaving. They like to shove the bottles in a bag lickity split, though.

Thanks guys

I brought it back to the pharmacy not too long ago. They were reluctant to take it back, but I showed them that the seal was basically heat glued to the outside of the bottle lip.

I just don't know how a defective bottle or defective meds get this far. It ideally should have been caught before it left the manufacturer's premises, but the pharmacy needs to do its job too.

It just sucks because I've been having med problem after med problem after med problem all day!

And I don't even have my lamictal (this med here). I had to leave without it because they said they didn't have time to fill it.

That's disappointing that they "didn't have time to fill it". Really?!?! They should have stopped what they were doing and find filled your replacement. Does your receipt have a survey reference? If so, I'd get online or on the phone and complain.

I have to say that I can be very assertive. I would have been harder to get out the door without a replacement, unless they truly didn't have additional supplies.
