I'm STILL having tactile hallucinations of bugs crawling on me but it's not as bad and I'm coping better mostly. Any tips of how to cope???

Sorry you're having tactile hallucinations.

How about a shower to temporarily relieve the symptoms? Maybe the hallucinations will get masked by the raindrops.

I used to get feelings of ants crawling in my hair, so washing my hair made them go away temporarily. And combing it.

Good.

Do you like swimming? You could try that too. Or a bath. I mean, if we pretend that all the bugs were real, then they would technically drown. Then you know that there is no way you have bugs on you.

You can also look in a mirror for "confirmation." For example, if you think you have ants crawling on you, look into a mirror to see that there are no bugs. Use one of those mirrors you hold in your hand.
Thanks for this!

TRIGGER

I am really fighting the urge to self harm for some reason. Its almost like I need it to feel grounded which isnt true. I am working on other ways to feel grounded but still...
