I feel absolutely horrible right now. My anxiety and stress levels are so high right now that I can't stand it. There is absolutely no reason for me to feel this way because right now I don't have too many stressors going on in my life. Also, I've made some impulsive purchases in the last few weeks. My thoughts are not racing any more than normal, and so far I'm sleeping okay. Is high stress and anxiety part of being manic? I had been taking lithium but had to stop because of really bad hand tremors. But I'll take the tremors over this anytime.

I can't get in to see my psychiatrist until September 24. She has a really long waiting list, but I am thinking about calling on Monday to see if she can work me in as an urgent patient.

Thank you.

It doesn't sound manic to me, it sounds like high anxiety

I'm not sure if high stress and anxiety are part of mania. I suffer from the same symptoms, and I make unwise purchases
sometimes. I do suffer from gad, and OCD besides bipolar though.

I agree that it sounds more like stress and panic disorder than even hypomnia. Are you on meds for panic disorder? Have you been having panic attacks (you can Google the symptoms if you’re nor sure)? I agree you should call on Monday for an early appointment though.
