So I have an interview tomorrow for a mental health counselor position in a group home! Will be working with people with severe persistent mental illness (SPMI). Apart of me is nervous because for the first time I decided to tell a job I have bipolar disorder. I finished all the paper work needed for the interview and now I just wait for it... Geez I hope working makes me feel better!

Well the interview I thought went fairly well but I’m not so sure lol. I told them I had bipolar and I had to take a typing assessment that I’m not too confident about (I suck at typing). But I’m still waiting on their decision...

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

That was brave to tell them about your bipolar. What made you decide to reveal that? Are you glad you did?
