It's weird. For one week I'm interested in science, don't believe in God. Then one or two weeks later I suddenly switch and I'm interested in spirituality, but not really God, more Budhism and new age. Then 2 weeks later I'm a Christian, I want to go to church, read the Bible. Like what the hell is going on? I change my mind so much it's hard to keep up. I don't have DID or anything like that because it's always just me but my interests and beliefs suddenly change in the blink of an eye. Even tastes in music change.

Do you have a strong sense of who you are in general?

Or maybe you are just very curious about things, and like to dig into that topic in depth, and then when your satisfied, you move along?
Thanks for this!

I can speak to musical tastes changing on a dime, I do not think it is strange. Spiritual beliefs changing that quickly is not something I have experienced, but have had changes over time between different thoughts. I do think that is not uncommon with people without bipolar disorder.

One bipolar i knew described it as having 'a bit of a magpie mind.' Apparently, a magpie is a type of bird that gets fascinated with shiny bits and then loses interests and moves on to it's next fascination. Perhaps you are like this?

How about dissociative alters? Just saying as you are talking about switches.

Im the same. It used to really be obvious with religions too.
Then it was with diets and lifestyles. Now i feel it more with my personality.
I find I an very unpredictable when hypomanic. But I still my interests etc change between episodes quickly too
