Hi Everyone,

I have been diagnosed bipolar type 1, last year. I refused meds, just could not accept this diagnosis. Well a couple of days ago, my neighbor said he hated my home town, I replied when was he in Oak Ridge, he explained he picked me up, and drove me to his house, saying we ate at taco bell, etc. I have zero clue what he is talking about! This is so disturbing , friends telling me more about my missing time. Im just devestaed, I made appoint. I realize i must stop ignoring this. My question, has anyone else had missing time?
With ZERO memory of events?

Thanks,
Amos

I've never experienced this but everyone's different. My initial diagnosis was Bipolar 1 with psychotic features which changed to Schizoaffective Bipolar Type. I know that kind of thing can happen with dissociative disorders or the dissociative features of borderline though. I would definitely ask your doctor about it, that sounds scary

How about asking The Dissociative Disorders forum...

I have Dissociative Identity Disorder and deal with missing memories on a daily basis.

Can this be a possibility?
