Hey guys, I got stitches for my SI today and I'm actually pretty proud! Normally I would let the wound go and it wouldn't heal properly or get infected. This time I went to a clinic and they were really nice. Life has been pretty painful these days, but I wanted to share this because it's a bit more positive. Hope you're all doing okay today (or at least managing).

Possible trigger:

I am glad you went to the clinic, you were well-received and they gave you stitches! Great self-care!

I am very proud of you. That took a lot of courage. Congratulations. I'm glad they were nice.

I'm glad you got help for it, but that is pretty bad SI to need stitches.
Possible trigger:
Of course, I ended up with a tetanus shot too.

I know it may be a temporary release, but SI is not a good coping mechanism, I'm sure you know. It's hard to stop, I still have urges, but I am glad I did.

True, unfortunately. It's really good that you were able to stop.
