Anyone going Black Friday shopping? Not me. First, we have no money. Two, it just sings to the overspending manic part of my bipolar. If you have BP, how in the world do you keep spending in check? I miss days of shopping sprees. But it's the spree or the house, and shelter wins in the importance category (now if only I could not for a millisecond forget that...)

I have to go to a grocery store tomorrow but only because I use the pharmacy inside. I will just stick with the drive-thru. Not too much to be tempted to buy at the grocery store, but they usually do have some seasonal things.

I don't like the Black Friday crowds, but I started to get back about online shopping on Black Friday & Cyber Monday. I need to get into a project or hobby, just forget about shopping as much as I love it.

Nope I hate crowds. Plus I don’t have much money either. I used to work retail and being in at four am was some real ********. One year I had two retail jobs; I had to open at one and close at the other. It sucked. I do most of my Christmas shopping online.

I won’t be going shopping but I have to go to physical therapy at 9 and will have to go through the insane crowd around the mall area to get there. Not looking forward to that.

online only. And oddly enough I'm buying myself a present. I was given money last year for something and am just now buying it for a good deal. I still need so many presents; not sure what to get anyone this year except a few things for my mom. My nieces are a mystery for the first time; they've always been easy but they have so many toys and are getting into the age where experiences are better but I can't afford the experiences. So that's a puzzle.

I'm spending tomorrow with my sick husband at the hospital, but normally I don't have the money to go shopping. If I do have money I tend to waste it on restaurants because I love going out to eat but no alcohol involved, I keep myself from that.

I just got back from eating with family and then spending the rest of the evening with Auntie shopping most of it is for the girls, but I did get myself a few things granted most of it was clothes. I don't mind Black Friday shopping to be honest, I'm not a big fan of crowds but when we went it seemed like there weren't many in the stores. I've never gone overboard when it comes to Black Friday, my Aunt did but then again she has two small children and it's easy to save a lot on Black Friday.

Not me, totally broke, and there won't be Christmas this year, as far as gifts, bc no $. I will barely get bills payed, no $ for any gifts. I tried to Sell some things I have, un used, but no luck, and this month I had to pawn some things. Oh well we are grown, so it don't matter.

No, I'm not. It's too chaotic out there. Plus, a lot of Black Friday stuff going on sale is old inventory that companies are trying to move out, especially Amazon's stuff. Not all of Amazon's stuff is old inventory, of course, but a lot of it is. The really good stuff usually doesn't go on sale unless a store has a deal like, "Spend $500 and get 20% off!!"

Cyber Monday and Black Friday really aren't anything special anyways. There are always "pre-Black Friday" sales like 2 weeks before Black Friday and "extended Cyber Monday" sales that last at least a week after Cyber Monday.

I am not going near any stores at all this weekend. My dysphoric *****iness would be set free.

I did, however, treat myself to a new sweater from Torrid. Cherry red and warm. Yum! And it was on sale too.
Thanks for this!

Black Friday shopping is definitely not my thing. I can't handle the crowds. Don't have much money anyways.

I went out. Not particularly for Black Friday, but thanks to Clozaril I'm fat now and need new ski pants/jacket/winter clothes and things are cheap today.

We went last night nothing I wanted really. The sales weren't that great unless you wanted a ps4 or had toddlers. I picked up 2 things from five below but I'm sure they we're available any time but I was there anyway. I blew my budget on a joint gift from my parents. So have to find cheap little things for him for under our tree. The problem is he wants big things because he doesn't understand money. Like a new head set ($5) that's wireless ($40) things like that. Plus my nephew will be here so I basically have to shop for 2 kids.

Back from shopping. The stores weren't that crazy and the sales weren't that great. I do most of my shopping on cyber Monday anyway. Hope everyone is having a good night.

I shopped online and went to stores with my sister. There were a lot of people but it wasn't that bad.

I generally do cyber Monday. I have never done Black Friday shopping until this year but it wasn't that crazy stuff like waiting outside for hours and stampedes of people anyone going Black Friday shopping? I simply went down the street to a very nice little used bookstore (they also have some DVDs and a pretty good selection of CDs) and bought a few things. I got 2 hardcover books (a novel and an Italian cookbook), 2 paperbacks (an eating disorder recovery guide and The Inferno by Dante), the movie Big Daddy on DVD (with Adam Sandler), and 2 CDs, 25 Mozart Favorites and the Young and Hopeless by Good Charlotte. They have very good prices to begin with and their Black Friday sale made books 50% off. I got all that for $7.56. That's it! Such a good deal and I'm so happy with my purchase. No crazy lines or anything since it's just a small local business.

I went out. We usually do a shopping trip (mom, aunt, sisters, oldest daughter, nieces, and a couple of my nephews that actually enjoy shopping) the Saturday after Thanksgiving but this year we went yesterday. We were out all day and I got all three of my kids pretty much finished.

Hahahahaha nope! I have no money! It's all gone or sitting somewhere to be used for more.... important things (like rent/car payments).

But I am shopping in spirit and it's fulfilling enough for me.
