Does anyone still feel passionate about anything anymore. I’m trying to find something I’m passionate about and turn it into a career but after my last episode it’s hard for me to feel passionate about anything really. Can someone give me some advice?

Start small? (Part time) Try many different things? Sometimes working with people you enjoy is very energizing. Also, finding something you can excel at makes you feel good but remember, there is a learning curve.

I don't have a lot of passion towards anything. But there are things that I enjoy doing just not to the extent that I used to before meds. I miss having passion but it is what it is.

My passion only spikes when I’m hypomanic. It’s really annoying. I get so into things and get completely convinced Its my new hobby. One time I went fully into wanting to get my masters degree and another time I wanted to start my own preschool cooperative. It’s actually really embarrassing cause I get so excited I call and chat anyone’s ear off about it. Currently I’m on a down and have zero passion or hobbies.

Get a hobby.
If you invest enough money in it, it would eventually has to turn into a business.
That's how most of my businesses have started.
Once the money is rolling, I become part of the Rockefeller family.
And spend more money than they do.

But everybody is different.
I know a guy that kept all the money we made in the gold business.
Later, they robbed him of 1 1/2 million dollars at gun point, that were never found.

At the end, we were both poor.
But I slept at The Waldorf. He slept at Motel 6.

Cheers.

I have passion but I'm not engrossed in it like I was in psychosis. I'm still pursuing my dreams in multiple ways.

not forgetting the videos of the fireworks, the parades, the rides, the music soundtracks, the pictures of the hotels, their's so much out their- and for someone like me who's never been (and probably won't go because she hates flying), it's almost like you can be their from your armchair

I feel I know it- the names of the areas, the names of the rides, some of the history, I even look up queue times and think about the people when I'm reding it- all those people queuing up

my love is amusement parks- and I love reading anything about them (even accidents, I'm obsessed with reading about amusement park accidents)

I'll probably never get to one (for fear of crowds), and if I did, my weight would mean I couldn't get on any of the rides- and I can't work at one because I've all ready been told I can't work

but I can get pretty close to them by looking them up and stuff

I have had lots of passions in life. At times, in the past, certain aspects of past jobs were passions of mine, but I think many people are not passionate about what they do for money. As long as they are passionate about something else, that's fine. Requiring passion for one's money making endeavors can bring frustration and disappointed. Some things we just do. Other things we really live.

My moods do affect my ability to discover or live passions, but even during some lows I can have "passionate moments". I try to make them as numerous as possible and savor them, not dwell on them being in the minority of moments of my day.

I'd like to hear what people have to say about this, because I'm in the same situation.

This. It's nice (heck, more than nice!) if you can work in your passion, but also not hugely common. Moderate interest can be enough. No interest is do-able. My current job is mind-numbingly boring. But I remind myself that the paychecks allow me to live where I am, and I am very happy with that.

Another thing to consider is that even at a "whatever" job, good people can make a big difference.

As far as passion in general, try thinking of things you have enjoyed in the past. Often these things fall away, especially if things get busy. Try to re-discover some. Or "rabbit-trail". If you can think of something that interests you, do searches that might bring up related things you might also be interested in. Who knows where it may lead?
