Well -- I don't post much anymore, but I often do read the forums. I've been in a deep depression for a while and it got pretty severe. However, my life is turning around. It took a very scary realization for this to happen, but it was necessary.

-I got unemployment figured out, so that means at least some income
- I had medicaid while I didn't have unemployment which paid for my medicine and doctor visit (which I'm now back on my meds..big help.)
-I got my license back and I'm allowed to drive again...finally.
-I've spent over a month living with my mother and I'm ready to move back home. I'll probably start that transition next week, so back to some independence.

So, things are looking up right now -- I still feel too unstable to work again, I think maybe I should go back to school and work towards my PhD again... but then part of me says no. I feel good. I feel upbeat. I think it's just in contrast to the depression and not a hypo moment. I just wanted to say I am feeling better... and that's a sincere change I didn't expect.

Glad to hear some good things are snowballing in the right direction for you!! Stay strong, don't push too hard either. I'm talking about school and work both. Get some good ground under your feet like you already have, and just keep on walking for now.

Yea! That is so good to hear!
I notice too that you have a new avatar. Is it a self-portrait?
