I have been spending the whole morning trying to stop a panic attack. My boss called a meeting at 2 yesterday got 3:30. I was at the dr with my son so he had to reschedule it for today. So now it is this afternoon. All the invite said was discussion and it was with him and my supervisor. Never good when they call meetings that fast. I asked if I needed anything and all he said was no prep needed. But would not tell me what it was about. So now I am here of. Of course thinking the worst and trying not to panic. Bosses suck.

Well it is official I have a written warning and they can fire me at anytime. Assholes couldn’t wait two weeks until after the holidays. I am done. I can’t handle this. They wouldn’t listen to anything I said. Kept saying they gave me a fresh start which is bull. Plus I got thrown under the bus by people I thought were friends.

I'm so sorry things didn't go well, Crook32 Perhaps it's time to start looking for another job? Especially if your current workplace is stressing you out so much. Please don't give up. You can do this. Remember that you're stronger than you think. Sending many hugs to you

I never thought I would get fired from a job but I have changed since my hospital stays and ECT. My personality is different.

Sorry I’m confused. Did you receive a letter of warning or were you fired?

How rude to do it before the Holidays; goodness does that man not have a heart at least do it after the Holidays. I remember those warnings from my boss I was also thrown under the bus by people I considered good friends so I know the feeling of betrayal you are feeling. They also never listened to me either. My best advice apply to anything and get out of there before they do fire you. I wasn't smart enough to get out of dodge and getting fired sent me into a tailspin.

I agree 100% with Sea Cat. I didn't leave when the writing was on the wall and I thought my immediate supervisor was on my side. She was not. I was fired the day before I was to leave for vacation. They lied and manipulated things to make it happen. I wish I had walked out when I knew how badly I was being treated.

I had a new job before my accumulated vacation pay ran out.

Leaving is scary but leaving on your own terms is much less scary.

Letter of warning but there is no going back. I could be the most perfect employee and they still would find an excuse to fire me. This all started because of 3 people that I decided to stand up to. I am guessing I have 2 months to get out of there before they fire me.

I was recently told I'm going to get a written warning at work so I feel for you. I could still be fired.

My T and pdoc want me to go on disability. They have been talking about it for months now.

Also a really bad time for the market to crash because we will have to take money out.
