Dreams are just dreams. They are not poison. If you keep having a major fear about that please contact your psychiatrist. Such a paranoid fear could possibly indicate a developing episode or other psych concern.

I am sorry you feel scared Haiilebeth. I feel that way much of the time. Meds are there to help us. We should use them when we need them. Fear (and paranoia) can also be side effects of medication that do not work with our body and lifestyle. Speak to your doctor and tell them how you feel. Often, we can overcome our fears when we try.

I've always felt that dreams told me something, not necessarily in a "voice of God" kind of way, but more of an on-the-nose metaphor kind. Dreams are your mind's way of processing what happened to you during the day.

If I can throw some questions at you: Is there anything about the meds themselves that scare you? Anything that would make you think they are toxic for you (in the metaphorical sense)? What's the (proverbial) poison?

Hope that helps somewhat.

I just can’t shake the fear is all. I’ve nevervworried about being poisoned before and I’m feeling overwhelmingly scared.

It sounds like you may be headed for an episode.

If I recall correctly, you've recently restarted taking the Haldol as often as prescribed. Do you think not having taken it as prescribed might be a part of the reason you are feeling this way now?

You were reporting other symptoms within the last couple of days. Do you think they are related?

Have you reported these symptoms to your pdoc?

I hope things do not get worse for you. I know you love your job and don't want to end up in an episode. I hope your pdoc can help.

please take good care.
