My first conscious sober act is to reduce negativity in my life.

I am a capable, competent, caring, compassionate woman.

6. Life can be ordinary or it can be great.
Greatness is mine by a conscious effort.

7. Love can change the course of my world.
Caring becomes all-important.

8. The fundamental object of life is emotional and spiritual growth.
Daily I put my life into a proper order, knowing which are the priorities.

I am learning to know that I am loved.

I really like them! I'm a woman, too, but think they could also all be Men for Sobriety statements.

I'd prefer to work on these than on the 12 Steps.

I am going to another AA meeting tomorrow and asking for a sponsor and print out these statements so we can go over them.I am not really interested in going thru the 12 steps but they don't need to know that.

WFS sounds so good for a group on the forum

not only all the members of the society, but people who also want to stop

(by the way I now need to look up the society as I have never heard of it.)
