I have been on abilify for at lease 3 refills ... last one at 7.5 ( still low ) ...

for last week been noticing slight ( fuzzyness ) to my reading vision ... an all most

fear of driving ( it seems the traffic is too fast for my mind to keep up with ... been

missing off ramps and such ... )

last 3 nights have woken up in a total fright ( like a sleep panic attack ) ... so severe I have

been screaming in real fear on awakening ...

might be just my age ...61... things are chaging for sure ... but the affects above just seem

to have come on so fast ... and all 3 at once ....

anyone else experience such on abilify ....

Tigger ...

I am on 20mg of Abilify with no side effects except for some sleepiness. I was shaky on 30mg so had to come back down to 20.

I only took it for probably less than 2 weeks so I don’t know if that’s a possible side effect. Just wanted to let you know I care

I get you about the driving and slowed responses, but I've not felt the other two you mentioned, you have my sympathies about the panic attacks that's got to really suck.

For me, antipsychotics tend to mess with my blood sugar and Abilify was no exception. I was on such a low dose however, that I couldn't really tell you about any other side effects.

Sorry I'm not being much help, but I hope you get it all straightened out. It sucks, I know (similar symptoms, different medication). About all I can really say.

I'm so sorry, wiretwister I have never tried it, but if you're worried it may be a side effect of your meds, I'd suggest to talk to your Pdoc about this and see how it goes. Maybe that could help. I hope you'll be able to find the right meds combination for you. I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. Please don't give up. I hope you'll feel better soon. Try to hang on. You can do this! You're strong, I'm sure of that. I believe in you. Keep writing here if it helps. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you
