Hi I'm Peonie.

As what you've read from the title, I have Bipolar disorder...Type II...

I'm somewhat stable at present and hopefully will continue that way even after my US Nursing exam will finish.

I'm just anxious with all the preparations and processing of my papers since I'm a foreign graduate nurse from the Philippines...also the review is hectic and difficult but thankfully on my own pace...

Any tips on how to deal with anxiety as the days for taking the exam is getting nearer?

So much is at stake here: my reputation and the money that I borrowed from my parents that is roughly around 1,500 USD...

My planned date to take the exam is around the month of July...it will depend on how fast the processing of my papers will be completed...

Please help me guys...

Thanks and much love!

I don't have any words of advice for you but I wish you all the best.

Good for you for sticking with your studies to the end!

Hi!

I agree with the suggestion to learn breathing exercises to help with anxiety.
There are many breathing and relaxation examples on youtube, for example.

Best wishes with your studies and with your exam.

I dealt with similar a few years ago. My only advice is to not confuse nervousness with anxiety. They're seem identical, but the two are different.
If you feel "anxious", just remind yourself that you are probably actually "nervous", and that's a normal part of life, mental illness or not.

Very exciting though, good luck!
