I think it’s been wonderful but didn’t notice many on it. I’ve been on it about a year. BTW, it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here. Hiya!

Saphris was my miracle drug for a long time. I would use it in the winter when I got SAD. I can’t remember why I went off it. My current medication works better for me but Saphris is great.

Thanks for your responses. It just seems many list their meds and it’s not on the normal list.

Hi! Good to see you again, Hashi!! I was just catching up a bit and saw your post. I had a paradoxical reaction to Saphris. Kept me up all night. And with terrible restless legs. Obviously I hope it works better for you(!) Let us know how it goes, ok?

Any side effects weaning off of it?

I was on Saphris about six months at a high dose and had no problems weaning off. Can't recall how slowly I did it though. Saphris just didn't seem to help with my mixed episodes.

I’ve been in saphris since 2014
It changed my life at the start
And now years later the side effects seem to be hitting me harder it’s causing me to be lifeless and so tired
I cut my dose in half and that seemed to help a lot
I’m even less depressed
I recently lost a bunch of weight and I don’t know if because I’m smaller now the drug started hitting me harder.
To be honest I wish I wasn’t on it
But without it I can’t sleep and it helps my anxiety and racing thoughts
