I started taking this medication as my sole antipsychotic over a year ago and have not had a manic episode or psychotic symptoms since then.
It recently failed two Phase III trials for controlling symptoms of mania though. Rexulti falls short of goal in late-stage bipolar disorder studies - PharmaTimes I think I will stay on it until or unless I have another manic episode. If you take it for bipolar do you think it helps? __________________ BP 1 with psychotic features 50 mg Lyrica 50 mcg Synthroid 2.5 mg olanzapine |

When I took it I was taking it for the depression side of bp. It worked but did nothing for my hypomania and paranoia. And eventually did nothing to stop the depression crash after the hypomanic episode. So it didn’t really work for me.

I have never tried it, tecomsin, so unfortunately I don't have a lot of advice to give to you However, if it's working out for you, I'd suggest to keep it as well! I see no reason to change it if it's working out. If you have any doubts about it, I'd suggest to talk to your Pdoc about this and see how it goes from there. Hopefully he/she will be able to help you and to give you some advice. He/she's there to help you after all. Remember that different meds have different effects on different people! Perhaps that's the reason it's working out for you. I hope you'll keep feeling good. Good for you! Remember that we're here for you if you need it. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Be proud of yourself for how you're handling all of this. Sending many hugs to you
