Hey everyone,
I can finally say that after years of hiding behind my diagnosis and a horrible hospitalization last year, I can finally say I am on the right track. Things are still a bit rocky with my family, but things should be okay soon. All I have to say is, keep trying. Being bipolar is SO hard and we definitely deserve better than this sentence that was given to us. But we are strong, sensitive, kind and have so much talent so we shouldn't beat ourselves up the way we do. This was a hard long road, but today I am going to school full-time and looking for my dream job. If I made it, you can definitely make it. Happy birthday to me!!!

I want to thank everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes!! I had an AMAZING day today even though I was by myself. I had a down moment when I felt like crying because I was all alone today, and my sister is still not speaking to me, but you know, I am SO LUCKY in so many other ways - when 2020 comes around, I will have a party and a better birthday.
So for now, I am having a nice relaxing night tonight, counting my blessings and thanking you all for thinking of me. And I saw someone has a birthday coming up on Friday soooooo…… Let's Party!!!

SO glad you enjoyed your birthday!!! No shame in spending it alone....life is filled with ups and downs....the next birthday may involve 30 people and a big party! You never know what (or who) is around the corner.
