|
I have ECT on the 1st of July. Normally I'm fairly comfortable with it, but this time I have a strange foreboding that I won't come home from it.

I hate those feelings. They turn into bad anxiety. Ive had them about my kids. Maybe it will be cancelled and that's why you won't come home- you nevet went?

I hope all went well, Daonnachd. I can't imagine any reason why it shoudn't. I know that premonitions can make us all pretty anxious, but they are usually just that, and not based on any true foreshadowing of things to come.

Thanks, everybody, for checking in. I just got home. It was a long day today, longer than any other day of ECT that I can remember. I don't normally get home after 4pm. It's a 2 hour drive each way though it's not surprising how late it is. The treatment itself went better than last month. I don't have the extreme pain like last time.

I'm REALLY HAPPY that it all went well, Daonnachd!
 Sometimes our anxiety can play tricks on us. Now take some time to relax. You definitely deserve it. I hope you're feeling well right now. Please take care of yourself.
