Not exactly, but I used to like to catch salamanders (I guess an amphibian) in my parents' brook, but I would always let them go back to nature in a day or less. My brother did the same with box turtles. Maybe he kept the turtle slightly longer.

Q: Were/are you afraid to pick up animals like mentioned above? Or frogs, spiders, or the like?

No. I grew up with brothers and male cousins. I would have been shunned if I didn't get my hands dirty. My boys think it is gross when I pick up bugs and animals. They take after their dad. I don't do spiders though... For inside I have a handy little contraption you can use to catch bugs, look at them with a magnifying glass and let them go. I don't like killing anything if I can help it although I pretty much freak out when things crawl on me.

Oh, yes!! Hope for Paws, for sure. Rescue dog people from LA. Guaranteed to cheer me up.

Have you ever made jam or jelly?

I do like jams and preserves, butter, peanut butter, and cinnamon sugar. Sometimes Nutella. I also like not sweet things on toast. The usual stuff.

A nice cup of tea and my comfy chair.

What is the longest airplane ride you have ever been on? Mine is 15 1/2 hours to Hong Kong or Sydney, they are sometimes about the same length, depending on the wind.

I stole this from someone sometime but how many windows do you have open on your computer? I have 24 and may need to do some weeding.

I hate, hate, hate the feel of water on my skin, which makes showering torture.

Do you have a favorite fish?

I guess salmon, but I like all fish. Perhaps sardines least.

Q: Have you ever gone fishing? If so, what type? Do you like fishing?

Yes, all kinds. We had a lakehouse growing up. I've been deep sea fishing a few times.

Do you or have you ever hunted?

Hippopotamus, for sure. They're too cute, even though they kill more people in Africa than any other animal .

If you could take a trip anywhere, where do you think you would go?

It's a tie between polar bears and moose

If you could "trade in" your bipolar for depression, would you?

Definitely weeping willows. It has nothing to do with weeping, though. I just love that the branches fall downwards like rain. I've always loved that tree. I pushed my dad to plant one near his pond. I had a favorite weeping willow at the high school I attended and am even photographed under it for my senior year photo. My hair is a little bit like weeping willow branches.

That's a hard one... maybe a painting I did once and piano music
I wouldn't call them great but still

Which film star, if any, (past or present) do you look most like (or which well known person if not)

Though not exactly like either, I guess I am a cross between the young Kelly McGillis (movie "Top Gun") and the current Edie Brickell (of former band "Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians"). Like both, my hair is thick and curly/wavy. It's more the color of Edie's, but the style and length Kelly McGillis had in "Top Gun". I have blue eyes and fair skin like Kelly. My face is slightly more like Kelly McGillis' when she was younger, but just minor differences.

Q: What is something you like about yourself when hypomanic or manic?

Boundless joy.

Do you like boy bands and if so, which one is your fave? I have always been a Justin fan, so, I like NSYNC.
